God has blessed Dan and I

We are pregnant and my due dat is Dec 26th, so it should be a fun Christmas. This is the 9th week, I have been exhausted off and on, but from what I have been reading, I should get my energy back in the second trimester, and then lose it again in the third. Luckily I have not had any morning sickness, but I do get nauseous if I don't eat, and every thing that I do eat taste so much better than it use to.Our baby in the ultra sound looked more like an alien:) The baby changes every week, and should look more like a baby in the next ultra sound. We are already in love.Today the baby could pee( a weird and some what gross fact) We are so excited and grateful on what the future holds. We are thinking of moving, to a 2 bedroom, maybe in Capitola. Its either we rent if the rents low, or buy, because rent is too high.

Lets Talk Turkey

This thanksgiving we got to go up and visit Our Grandma Barbra in Reno. We were joined by Mel's sister Amber, David her husband, and their daughter Abigail. Also we saw Mel's other sister Jewel, who is watching over Grandma in Reno. It was a meat friendly affair ( sorry Mel and Jewel ) and it was spectacular. In all we spent three restful days in Reno and once again we are left wishing we had more time to spend with friends and family.

Ho ho Halloween

This Halloween Mel and I got the chance to have two of our nephews ( Braiden and Gabriel ) spend the night on All Hallows Eve. They got to try out potential costumes for the next day as well as help Aunt Melody with cooking dinner and yes, dessert. The next night on halloween we got to go trick or treating with them. I even got to sample some of their candy to make sure it wasn't poisoned. It's a tough job, but a burden I shall bare as their Uncle.

Sorry

Hello I don't know if anyone still checks in on this site due to the inactivity but, I just thought it was time for a new post. I like to follow other peoples posts and some reason we just never get around to working on our own.
I am currently listening to Jack Johnson doing a cover song of the White Stripes as I peck away at this key board. I think I will put a cute picture with this post so that it will get some attention. Okay, now I have some Queen " another one bites the dust" on, ( man, I type slow). I can't literally finish typing one paragraph before another song starts. Maybe that is a sign that I should do more post so I can get more practice at this typing thing. Oh man, now it is on Guns & Roses, this is so embarrassing.

Hot Hot dog days of summer

Our house is an oven in this summer heat. Cold showers have never felt so good. Our dog Harley, likes to put her face up against the screen on the window in hopes of catching a slight breeze. But, if you turn on the hose in the backyard Harley will go running. I thought dogs were supposed to love the water. I guess that is one of those ideas we should submit to "Myth Busters", or is it just our dog that is so confused.
