Mel And I recently took some pictures to help celebrate our five years of marriage, YEAH! Here are some pictures from the bunch. It is amazing that it has been five years already.

My truck is old, ( and by old i mean if it was my child it could have a driver license by now), so with that comes lots of random maintenance issues. So now I am getting more and more familiar with my truck manual and all the auto jargon ( that seems to have been some sort of male birth right that I somehow missed out on), that I never knew. Well anyway, I am slowly learning to check all the parts I buy before I leave the store, and not just to trust the guys that they gave me the right stuff. And you know what the worst part is, as soon as I fix all the little bugs in my truck, I am going to want to buy a whole new car. But, it is all just a growing experience, right.

Here is a picture of our nephew at the pumpkin festival in Half Moon Bay just before halloween. The festival was more of a art and wine style thing and not so much of a kid thing,... but you live and learn.

Tuesday

Today is my first Blog, well I guess it is not a bad idea to have something written about each day.
Today is Tuesday , one of my days off from doing hair. Dan had it off today too, because of Veterans Day. We woke up later than usual and made whole made waffles. mmm I went for jog with our dog Harley, went grocery shopping and went to my sister Jinayes house who lives 5 min. away and cut my nephew Jacobs hair, who sat still surprising well for a 3 year old., and now we are making Philly cheese steak sandwiches for dinner. I love relaxing with my darling on my day off. I want more days to just be with each other.

A New Hope

This is the first voyage into the deep space of the internet blog. Melody and I decided it was time to get hip and join the 21st century. The title of this blog site came to me on one of my hour long drives to work, (when most of my deep thoughts seem to surface). It is a play on the words THE MELTING POT, which would describe our life together as married couple of five years. I am not sure if Melody is down with the blog title yet, but it will grow on her, (because it is a GREAT idea). Well, that is all I have to say for now, ( gee I hope I haven't run out of stuff to blog about already). Oh ya, pictures our on the way..... as soon as I can harness the technology to put the up on this site. Be seeing you all later in cyberspace.
