OK OK. Maybe once a week was to lofty of a goal seen as it has been over 10 weeks since our last blog , but don't judge us, you are the nosey ones. So now that I got that off my chest We are ready to move on. More pics on the way but for now here is a glimps of are past few months. We have been watching our nephews and washing them after they got a hold of one of melody's chocolate cupcakes. and much much more to come. Got to go, bye

Slacking

Wow, it has been a long time since our last post. The truth is we are having trouble loading new pics from our camera into our computer. But regardless we are determined to push on and get more posts up on a far more regular basis. We are going to aim for one a week.

We just got back from our two week trip to Scotland. We had a blast! It was truly a time we shall always cherish. It was fun to drive on the wrong side of the road and not get honked at. The weather was chilly but very acceptable. We got to wear out our scarfs that Mandy made us for Christmas, (Thank you very much Mandy). We went and saw some great live bands and even better pubs. It is true that the beer is better there, and the whisky is quite good. We saw Loch Ness as well as some castles and other old stuff. Overall though we spent most of our time in the beautiful town of Inverness. The food was great there, mostly organic and comfort food. The River Ness ran right through the center of town and thus the seafood was outstanding, (mel thought, not me, all seafood is disgusting ). And yes I did try the Hagus and yes it was disgusting, Mel was a wimp and never attempted the Hagus, but that may have been due to my face expressions as I choked it down.

holiday madness

Wow, the holidays are here already. This year has just flown by and I do not expect it to get any slower any time soon. Mel and I have been attending event after event, since then middle of november, hence the lack of entries into this blog. These holidays have been about as chaotic as fighting a bunch of ninjas while falling off a cliff....( well I had to shamelessly work in this cool picture somehow). Hope all is well with everyone else and WE look forward to seeing you all this holiday season.

Mel And I recently took some pictures to help celebrate our five years of marriage, YEAH! Here are some pictures from the bunch. It is amazing that it has been five years already.

arrrr.....my hands

My truck is old, ( and by old i mean if it was my child it could have a driver license by now), so with that comes lots of random maintenance issues. So now I am getting more and more familiar with my truck manual and all the auto jargon ( that seems to have been some sort of male birth right that I somehow missed out on), that I never knew. Well anyway, I am slowly learning to check all the parts I buy before I leave the store, and not just to trust the guys that they gave me the right stuff. And you know what the worst part is, as soon as I fix all the little bugs in my truck, I am going to want to buy a whole new car. But, it is all just a growing experience, right.

Here is a picture of our nephew at the pumpkin festival in Half Moon Bay just before halloween. The festival was more of a art and wine style thing and not so much of a kid thing,... but you live and learn.
